Our Carers

Our Commitment to your Home Care Experience

We are fully committed to recruiting the best carers and care service coordinators, dedicated people who are passionate about caring and for whom view their role as more than ‘just a job’. Our rigorous multi-step screening process is evidence of how seriously we take this responsibility.

Carer Matching

  • Thanks to the diversity of our team, we can choose the most compatible carer to match with each client.
  • Selecting the right person to be your carer and to be in your home, and for you to feel comfortable with this person, is our greatest priority.
  • We take many factors like personality, cultural background, professional training and interests into consideration, understanding that this will enable us find the carer who matches best with you or your loved one.

Professional, Qualified Carers

All of our carers must be experienced, be passionate about their work and have completed FETAC Level 5 in Health & Community Care.

Interviewing & Screening

All our carers undergo a rigorous interviewing process to establish their suitability for homecare work, references and qualifications are thoroughly checked and, of course, all applicants are fully Garda Vetted.

Professional Inductions by Registered Nurses

All our carers complete an intensive induction session with one of our registered nurses and care managers.

Ongoing Training

Our carers engage in ongoing training sessions with professionals covering a wide range of topics, such as meal preparation, dementia care, medical supervision and more.

Fully Supported Carers – 24/7/365

We keep in regular contact with carers so they know that they are working as part of a larger team and are encouraged to go the extra mile for our clients every day. We understand the pressures that our carers can be put under and the issues they face, and we know and support every single carer we employ. We ensure that all carers are aware of and have access to the support we provide them, including

  • 24/7 phone line to our on-call staff member and an open door policy
  • Regular ‘check in’ sessions, including regular appraisals
  • Full training support
  • Feedback of positive comments from our clients straight away
  • Recognition and rewards for carers who have gone the extra mile for their clients
