How homecare works for you

Homecare visits can be just once or a number of times a day. All of our Carers are carefully selected, trained and vetted by An Garda Sìochana.

Companionship

Companionship

We provide a companionship service aimed at seniors in need of company. This might include anything from simple friendly conversation to assistance getting to and from various appointments and undertaking everyday tasks.
Emergency short term care

Emergency short term care

Our emergency short-term care service provides care and assistance to individuals in need over a limited or specified period of time.
Light housekeeping

Light housekeeping

Our light housekeeping service includes tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, shopping assistance and miscellaneous housework.
Medication reminders

Medication reminders

We can arrange reminders for individuals on medication to provide an extra safeguard in cases of declining memory.
Personal laundry

Personal laundry

We provide a personal laundry service including basic washing, drying and ironing.
Preparing for bed

Preparing for bed

We provide help to elders in need of assistance preparing for bed, including putting on bedclothes, locking-up the house and making sure all electrical appliances are switched off.
Respite care

Respite care

We support and provide temporary relief to families caring for loved ones at home through a scheduled care plan of visits from our expert carers. This can be a few hours, a few days or a few weeks, to enable families and other carers providing unpaid care to have their own time.
Shopping and meals

Shopping and meals

Our carers can assist with shopping and meal preparation to ensure that our clients have an appetising, nutritionally balanced diet.
Washing and Dressing

Washing and Dressing

Our carers are trained in all areas of elderly care, providing assistance to senior clients with showering, bathing and dressing.
